Ein Holzschnitt zum titelgebenden Roman “Lust” von Gabriele D’Anunnzio.

Das Motiv zeigt das Strassennetz der Stadt Rom, in der der Roman spielt, und setzt sich aus zwei einzelnen Drucken zusammen.
Zum einen die feingliedrigen Strassen und zum anderen den Fluss Tiber,
welcher sich in 45 Grad Winkeln durch die Stadt zieht um mehr Kontrast zu erzielen.

Das Ergebnis ist ein Plakat im Format DinA1.

A woodcut for the eponymous Book “Lust” by Gabriele D’Annunzio.

The print shows the street network of Rome, the city the story takes place in, and is made out of two separate woodcuts.
One being the delicate grid of streets and the other being the River Tiber,
which runs through the city in a very strict manner to effect more contrast.

The result is a poster in DinA1 Format.
